Development days
In addition to professional development from outside resources, JCC plans development days. Development days are single-day, internal conferences for faculty and staff that feature keynote speakers and a variety of small group sessions. Sessions highlight important topics at JCC and in higher education such as AI and technology, community involvement, employee well-being, and student empowerment.
Staff recognition ceremonies
Each year, JCC recognizes employees who have reached a milestone year, and/or received SUNY or JCC awards for excellence. The event is open to all staff, and includes light refreshments and a presentation.
Informal events & gatherings
JCC hosts informal gatherings for employees where you can enjoy a break with colleagues. Events have included:
